We aim to reduce the number of homeless cats suffering on the streets in under-served areas of Palm Beach County, Florida through TNVR and the rescue and adoption of kittens, sick/injured, and friendly homeless cats.

Once community cats are spayed or neutered the population of their colonies will stabilize because no more kittens will be born. Cats will be healthier because they are vaccinated against common diseases and will no longer be subject to cancers of the reproductive organs. Females will no longer have to bear the burden of going into heat several times a year and having litter after litter of kittens without veterinary care. Males will no longer exhibit most of the nuisance behaviors associated with breeding such as fighting for dominance with other males and spraying to mark their territories.

All in all, TNVR benefits the lives of community cats and the community they live in.

We are also "placement partners" with Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control. This means we can pull cats and kittens that have been brought in as stray and put up for rescue request because they cannot be put directly into an adoption program. They are either ill, too young, not socialized, or any combination of factors. After other rescues have taken the ones they are willing to take then we will take the "leftovers" to keep them from being euthanized. Most are very ill, have special needs, or need surgery. Some are bottle babies without their mother or are mothers with kittens too young to wean, friendly and non-friendly.
